An Effingham County native, Dr. Ratchford returned home after completing his residency to open his first practice in Springfield in 1990.

Prakash Patel, MD

Board-Certified Physician

Dr. Patel completed his residency at Memorial Health in Savannah and joined the practice in 1998. He and his family have called Effingham home ever since.

Ryan Ratchford, MD

Raised in Springfield and a graduate of ECHS, Dr. Ratchford completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and looks forward to raising his family in Effingham County.

Victoria Sikes, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Victoria joined the practice in 2017 upon her certification as a Nurse Practitioner. She is an Effingham County native and the granddaughter of Dr. Ray Webb, who practiced in Effingham for many years.

Kelli Stewart, NP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Kelli is a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as an RN. She joined the practice in 2019 and is an Effingham native who is active in the local community.

Emilee Dodd, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Emilee joined the practice in 2023. An Effingham County native, she graduated from ECHS and completed her Physician Assistant training at South University.

Kaitlyn Kelly, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Kaitlyn joined the practice in 2025. An Effingham native and ECHS graduate, she completed her PA training at South University and worked as a Certified Medical Assistant before becoming a Physician Assistant.
